GIVING BACK  — I am so grateful to be able to do what I love and to work with amazing people in beautiful locations all over the world. It’s so important to me to utilize local artisans wherever I can, and to give back to the locations we’re working in — we simply can’t do what we do without the local teams. Wherever possible, we like to re-purpose and donate items from our events to local charities. For example, we often have leftover blankets and wraps from our “comfort essentials” tables. These blankets are taken to local animal shelters to help keep the animals warm and cozy as they are waiting for adoption.

Our annual holiday donation is a tradition at LISA VORCE CO and another small way we like to give back. Each year during the holiday season, we select a charity to highlight and to give back to.  As you know, I adore animals!!  My beloved Lola and Odie are both rescue dogs, which is one of the reasons our most recent charity selection is The Tony La Russa Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF).

Some of our other selected charities include the Villalobos Rescue Center – in honor of Jackie (our rescue pitbull who has gone to doggie heaven);  The Bali Animal Welfare Association – a  charity based in Bali, Indonesia that works to improve the lives of all animals in Bali;  The Penguin Foundation – a charity that provides a dedicated source of funding to support little penguin conservation projects, and The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)
